Tracktern
A mobile app built for students hunting for internships — letting them track applications across stages (Saved, Applied, Interview, Offer), manage upcoming interviews, and stay organised throughout their entire job search journey.

Most CS and design students track internship applications across spreadsheets, notes apps, and email threads. They miss deadlines, lose track of interview stages, and have no single view of their search progress. Tracktern replaces that chaos with a structured, calm dashboard.
A final-year student applying to 15–30 companies simultaneously, with interviews staggered across weeks. They check their applications daily, need reminders for upcoming interviews, and want to know at a glance how many applications are at each stage.
The dashboard shows three numbers immediately: total applications, interviews scheduled, and offers received. Below this, a horizontal scroll shows saved and applied companies as cards. The '+' FAB at the bottom-right adds a new application without leaving context. Each company card uses coloured status pills (Applied, Interview, Offer) that are scannable in under a second.
The 'Offers' screen is deliberately different from the rest of the app — it opens with 'Great job!' text and a clean breakdown of salary, stipend, relocation, and start date. This is the moment the user has been working toward. Making it feel rewarding — not bureaucratic — was a deliberate design choice.
